Covid19 Safety Standards:

Since our programs are all held outside, the risk of infection is substantially lower than indoor programs. However, we can not guarantee your child or any participant will not contract COVID-19 from attending our program. If you make the choose to send your child to an Earthbound Skills program, you are knowingly doing so with the understanding that there is potential risk of exposure.

mask protocol

  • Right now, because our classes are outside, masks are optional for everyone. This can change, and if we have to change mid-session to mandatory masks because of current recommendations for our local area, we will. If that becomes the case, we will still create time and safe space for the kids to have breaks from wearing them the entire time, such as swimming, eating, and playing organized running games.

  • If you would like your child to wear a mask during class, please try and attach it to something they can wear around their neck. This will make it easier for us to support them in several ways: it helps them not lose their mask, and it helps us remind them to put it on after snack, lunch, etc when we see it around their neck. Also, feel free to check in with us at the beginning of the session to communicate any requests you may have regarding when your child wears their mask.

  • We will have hand sanitizer with us during class and will offer it to anyone who would like to use it. If you would like your child to use hand sanitizer before snack and lunch, please let them know to take us up on the offer when it is time. We know that not everyone wants their children to use hand sanitizer, so we will not be asking kids to do it, we will just be offering it as an option, so please let your child know what you would prefer them to do.

  • We will maintain a level of awareness and safety in general regarding Covid as we have been doing this past year. For example, this means that when we sit in a circle we will ask the kids to "spread out their eagle wings" to give some space in between them when we are gathered for periods of time.

  • All parents will be required to sign a Release of Liability, which includes a section about Covid. This will ask everyone to be personally responsible for "slowing the spread", such as quarantining if a family member has been tested positive, staying home if your child is experiencing any symptoms, etc. This way we can be sure we are all agreeing to maintain a safe environment for our children to socialize in.

please keep in mind that we will follow the recommended cdc guidelines that are current.

In the ever-changing situation with covid19, this means that we may have to change our safety protocols mid-program.

if you are in disagreement with cdc recommendations and want to withdraw a student mid-session, there will be no refunds.
