change the world. be a nature mentor.

Do you love the outdoors, and want to share that connection with others? Do you envision a world where nature and people coexist in harmony, mutually caring for and supporting each other? Are you a kid at heart, who still loves to play? These are some of the very core values that brought Earthbound Skills into existence, and if those values resonate with you as well, then you may want to consider joining our team of instructors!

Earthbound Skills teaches programs to local youth year-round, ages 4-14. We offer all-day programs to home school students during the school year, field trips for public schools, and day camps during spring and summer breaks. We have a small staff, because we are committed to a high quality standard of education. We are dedicated to providing a deep nature connection experience to our students, which in turn requires instructors who have a deep nature connection themselves. We teach skills that are unique in this day to know, such as fire-by-friction, basketmaking, bird language, animal tracking, sensory awareness, and more. Though an applicant may not necessarily have all of these skills already, an applicant must have a genuine interest, love, and connection to nature, as well as a willingness to learn these skills in order to teach them from a genuine source.

Are you interested in having a inspirational role in a child’s life by becoming a nature mentor? If the answer is yes, please continue reading below in how to apply to become part of the Earthbound Skills staff, and essentially a part of our community.
